Occupational Therapy

Pediatric Occupational Therapy at Limitless Victory Therapy Services focuses on improving your child’s skill-sets and areas needed to achieve optimal independence at home, school, and when in the community. 

 

Skills that may be addressed may include, but are not limited to: 

• Sensory Integration and Sensory Processing Skills- modulation, discrimination, organization, attention

• Praxis/Motor Planning skills 

• Reflex Integration

• Self-regulation 

• Fine Motor Skills

• Visual-Motor Integration

• Visual Perceptual Skills

• Ocular-Motor skills 

• Handwriting and Pre-Writing Skills 

• Activities of daily living- dressing, self-feeding, bathing/hygiene, play

• Social skills and social participation

• Strength, endurance, balance and motor coordination skills 

 

Our therapists are trained and knowledgable in sensory integration techniques to assist children with Sensory Processing Disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders of all ages.

 

Therapeutic tools that may be used within our sessions may include, but are not limited to: 

• Sensory Integration equipment and swings 

• Handwriting Without Tears or Learning Without Tears programs

• Therapeutic Brushing Protocols

• Listening systems

• Metronomes

Consultations

Offering consultative services to help establish sensory diets, accommodations, modifications, and even create sensory spaces in any environment.

Parental Consultative Sessions are now an additional part of our vision here at Limitless Victory is to provide community and parent education to everyone. In order to meet our community’s needs further, we are now offering parent training sessions to OPTIMIZE your homeschooling experience. This is a service for any child, not necessarily with developmental delays or learning difficulties. This is to ensure you, the parent, are fully equipped and prepared to handle this homeschooling experience. Knowledge is power. The more you are prepared, the less out of control you will feel. Private, individualized consultation services are now available to help you learn how to foster your child’s general development in areas such as:

• overall strengthening

• fine motor skills

• cutting

• writing

• dressing

• play skills and so much more!

Family and Community Education

We pride ourselves on patient advocacy and education for those involved in patient care including community members. We will soon offer training events for families, groups, and community members to help learn more about areas of special need and interests. Check back soon for an event schedule.
