Introducing Mrs. Lauren- Not just an Occupational Therapist

I always hear so much about the families I work with and the ins-and-outs of their everyday life and routines, I wanted to be sure to share with you all who I am!

My name is Lauren Condoleon. I am, first and foremost, a wife and mother. I have been married to my husband going on six years now, together TEN next year! Time really flies. My husband is the love of my life, biggest supporter, and I simply do not know what I would do without him. He is a helper, my best friend, and brings so much comic relief to our household. I am a mom of two babies under the age of two (soon I won’t be able to say that!). I have a daughter and son who have fulfilled the highest calling I could ever have in my life- being a mom.  My kids are 15 months apart and although it can be a whirlwind, I wouldn’t change any of the timing. Becoming a parent has really taught me more about life than any other chapter. My children are so sweet, smart and joyful, and I really LOVE watching them grow.

I grew up in Westfield, New Jersey and went to college/graduate school at Seton Hall University. I am a Christian and my faith is a big part of my personal life. In my spare time (less of that now-a-days) I enjoy reading books, praying, journaling, cooking, travelling, going to the beach, a GOOD cup of coffee (hello cappuccino!), running, good music, and going out to eat with friends and family. I love being creative and once played the cello, which I hope to be able to pick up again someday soon.

I realized I wanted to be an occupational therapist in high school and am so glad I figured it out so early. I have always had a love for children, but especially those with special needs. OT is more than a career to me. It is my passion and I can honestly say I no longer am able to separate being an OT from myself. It is a part of who I am, and a big one at that.

I hope you enjoyed learning a bit more about myself personally and hope to meet you as well
